The following extracts are from various projects with widely different briefs to give the listener an idea of the sonic pallets I am able to create. I work project-specifically and as such the context of the scene, characters and narrative influences all my musical decisions that is extrapolated into a cohesive whole.
STAR+CROSSED - A NEW SOUTH AFRICAN MUSICAL
Original score for a new musical theatre production entitled STAR+CROSSED.
Set in 1940s South Africa,Star+Crossed is loosely inspired by the life of Elizabeth Klarer who became a minor celebrity for telling tales of being abducted by an alien from another planet with whom she fell in love.
